Are You a Licensed Enterprise?
Yes, Airport Transfer Service is licensed by Transport for London and we are also members of the London Tourist Authority, as well as the Federal of Small Businesses. We also hold all the mandatory insurance liability coverage.
Do Your Drivers Speak English?
Yes. As many of our passengers are English-speakers, your driver will be in fluent in English. If you require a driver fluent in another language, such as Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, or Italian, please let us know in advance.
Do You Track Flight Times?
Absolutely! We have an onboard data system letting us know if there are any delays or early departures that would affect your flight or cruise. To give you time to depart the plane and claim your luggage, we will arrive at the airport a half hour after your flight lands and wait an additional 45 minutes in case you run in to any snags along the way. "No-shows" will be charged the full transfer rate. If we hear form you after we have left the airport, your rescheduled transfer will be treated as a separate booking.
Where Will the Driver Meet Us?
Airports: Your driver will greet you at the arrivals hall, following baggage claim and passport control. We offer a premium meet and greet service for private aircraft, which is generally more than a regular meet and greet transfer.
Home or Hotel Pickups: For pickups at your home or hotel, Airport Transfer Service will arrange the ideal spot in advance.
Cruises: At ports, we usually greet passengers as they exit from the terminal after luggage claim.
Please note that it is the responsibility of passengers to check that all luggage and belongings are boarded or removed upon your departure or arrival.
What are Your Services?
Airport Transfer Service offers 24-hour chauffeured transportation to airports (Heathrow, London City, Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow, Birmingham, etc.), as well as many popular cruise ports, such as Dover, Portsmouth, Tilbury, Tower Pier, Southampton, Liverpool, and Folkestone.
What payment methods are accepted?
Airport Transfer Service accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, as well as British Pounds, U.S. Dollars, and Euros. Foreign currency is accepted at the prevailing rate of the day. Credit cards are required during the booking process, although you may choose to pay with cash at the time of service. Sorry, we do not accept travellers' cheques.
Do you offer child seats or boosters?
Yes, we want all passengers to travel safely and comfortably. We are able to offer most sizes of child and booster seats, so long as the request is made in advance. There are no additional fees for this service.
Why is luggage not allowed in the cabin of the vehicle?
Due to safety regulations, luggage is not permitted in the vehicle, as it can cause injury in the event of a sudden stop or accident. Safety is always the first priority of our company.
